backstory
Daniel, a blind Aarakocra, was rejected by his clan, the Avian Conquerors, at birth due to his disability. Left to die, he was discovered by a kind Tiefling couple, Liara and Feron, who took him in and raised him alongside their daughter, Sophia. From the moment Daniel arrived, Sophia embraced him as her brother. As he grew, Feron suggested he join the Caldorian Monks, believing their training would help Daniel adapt to life without sight. Years later, Daniel learned Sophia had accidentally summoned a demon from the Nine Hells. He broke his Monk’s oath and flew home. Liara stopped him—Feron had been killed and Sophia lay unconscious, her life force feeding the demon. Feeling her desperate call, Daniel defied danger, entered the home, and slew the demon, saving Sophia. Since then, Daniel and Sophia travel together, bonded by loss, love, and the lingering shadows of the infernal.
