He wears a patched and painted suit of personal armor adorned with battlefield sigils, and a ceremonial shoulder pauldron that he never removes. His hair is short and graying, and he carries a field-worn blade at his side, a testament to his years of service.

Hard as ferrocrete, but loyal to his troops; speaks in short, clipped phrases — doesn’t waste words; hates simulations: 'They don’t bleed.' Known to sleep in bunkers instead of his quarters to keep morale high.

Originally from the bleak mining settlements of Zahara-9, Holt built his career through hard field deployments, never taking a desk job unless forced. He’s been deployed to seven worlds, suffered three near-fatal ambushes, and still walks with a reinforced knee brace from the Drazil Uprising. He’s infamous for charging into the field ahead of his troops — not for glory, but to check the kill zones personally.
