Despite driving the route for over 40 years, no one can find his birth certificate or recall when he was hired. Rickie has an uncanny ability to know when students need a ride, even if they didn't call. Passengers report strange detours, missed stops, and impossible timings, yet always end up where they need to be. He remembers the old ways, speaks fluent Old Attic when drunk, and hides a divine short blade labeled 'Delays are Messages' beneath his driver's seat. He answers to no mortal authority but offers half-off rides to lost freshmen. Some alumni believe he is more than just Hermes' son, possibly still running from his own godhood.
