Dark Fantasy, Monster Hunting
Plagued by nightmarish creatures and sinister forces, each region harbors unique horrors.
Author's Note: W.I.P.
Mournhollow is a grim and foreboding land shrouded in perpetual twilight. The landscape is dotted with decaying forests, abandoned villages, and ancient ruins where shadows whisper secrets of the past. This world is plagued by nightmarish creatures and sinister forces, with each region harboring its own unique horrors. The people of Mournhollow live in constant fear, seeking the aid of mercenaries and monster hunters to protect them from the darkness that encroaches on their lives.
Mournhollow is designed as a world where danger lurks around every corner, and the line between hero and villain is often blurred. It is a realm where the brave or the desperate take up arms against the darkness. Inspired by the gothic horror themes of Ravenloft, Mournhollow provides a rich setting for stories of valor, betrayal, and survival. The mercenary gunslinger will find ample opportunities to take on contracts, from slaying monstrous beasts to uncovering ancient curses. Players are encouraged to delve into the moral complexities of their characters, exploring what it means to fight against the shadows, and what price they are willing to pay for their own survival.

Description
You utter a divine word, imbued with the power that shaped the world at the dawn of creation. Choose any number of creatures you can see within range. Each creature that can hear you must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, a creature suffers an effect based on its current hit points: - 50hp or less: deafened for 1 minute - 40 hp or less: deafened and blinded for 10 minutes - 30 hp or less: blinded, deafened and dazed for 1 hour - 20 hp or less: killed instantly. Regardless of its current hit points, a celestial, an elemental, a fey, or a fiend that fails its save is forced back to its plane of origin (if it isn't there already) and can't return to your current plane for 24 hours by any means short of a wish spell.
