Description
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth A revolutionary program known as EDEN has taken the world by storm. A fully immersive, fully realized VR cyberspace. After just a year of it's existence EDEN has become a logistic backbone of countries across the globe. Trade, schooling, entertainment, and even crime, all trades moved to the digital world. The most peculiar thing about EDEN is the sudden appearance of digital monsters called Digimon. Powerful but mysterious programs that changed EDEN forever.
Author's Note
UPDATE: Finished Armor, Courage, and Friendship roster (I'll add more armor eggs later.) Added more to Kowloon Lv. 2, more champions, and new digivolution system/item "Digi-Bits". (Tips for combat) I recommend manual dialogue mode. Before rolling initiative to start a fight, say something like "Summon allied monster Tailmon(Ringless) and enemy monster Agumon" Names are case sensitive and Franz forgets Digimon are monsters sometimes. To command Digimon, open the chat bubble before their turn by clicking "Show Input" and command them in chat, IE "I command Veemon move to Lopmon and use Vee Headbutt" then click "Run Veemon's Turn". This should be done in manual dialogue mode because you don't want Franz to respond to the command or he'll start tweaking. Certain spells like Burst Digivolution and Composite Fusion, or the use of armor digi-eggs can be confusing for Franz sometimes, you may have to explain them in great detail but they will work. To use Armor eggs simply do it through dialogue as a free action. (General Info) Digimon in the Monster category are used for combat, it's what the DM summons for allies and enemies, those are the stats and powers that matter, so be sure to add whatever digimon you want to fight to the Monster directory. I will warn that Digimon's stat sheets are AI generated for the sake of time, some may be busted. I reccomend checking the stats briefly before starting a fight just to see if anything is bonkers or too vague. I may manually go in and balance them one day, but I haven't as of now. Digimon in the Character category are there for personality, behavior, and if you want to play AS a Digimon, their stats don't affect combat (unless you're playing as one or there's no monster entry for a digimon and only a character entry). It technically isn't necessary for every Digimon, but it is great for making the AI much more consistent on a Digimon's behavior and looks. I recommend only making characters for Digimon if you intend for them to speak and be long-term partners or even play as them. You can play as any existing characters or start your own. Existing plots are: 1. Kaito Daigaku is a lone coder who is seeking help to uncover what EDEN Syndrome really is and how to fix it. (Starting in Kuremi Detective Agency) 2. Biyuu is a total newbie hacker trying to get her account back, seeking help from Hudie to get her first Digimon. (Starting in Hudie Cafe Area) 3. Hideki Takeda is a veteran detective in the real world but is inept with technology. After several months away from his home town he comes back to see things are very different. (Start at Cyber Crimes Division Office. I reccomend making a Digimon character to act as your cop buddy partner you meet in EDEN.) 4. Koromon was in the digital world before being ripped into EDEN. (Starting in the Old Playground in EDEN. You can make whatever Digimon you want it is flexible.) Of course you can do whatever, make your own characters, edit existing ones.
