Once proud and regal, Virelyth now carries herself with measured melancholy, tempered by wisdom that spans ages. She is cold and calculating but harbors a deep ember of hope for Gru, magic, and her kin. She despises greed and is wary of humans, aiding only those who show courage or reverence for the old ways.

Born when the world still thrummed with primal magic, Virelyth soared across a Gru filled with sky-bridges, star-temples, and living waterfalls. She was once the Warden of the Frostflare Conclave, a gathering of dragons who preserved the northern magic currents. When Gru’s magic began to fade, the conclave disbanded or perished. Virelyth retreated to her lair in the Hollow Spire—an iceberg-like peak that floats untethered above a cursed tundra. She now guards its last magical resonance, deciphering the frozen glyphs left by the ancient guardians, in search of the means to revive the world.
