Medium Undead - CR 7
The Mad Orosion Wraith is a tormented spirit born from the bones and marrow of an ancient warrior, twisted by grief and madness following the death of their deity, Oros. It roams the lands with a singular purpose: to purge the world of any beings it perceives as intruders, targeting both Orosion descendants and humans indiscriminately. With its haunting presence, it embodies the sorrow and wrath of a fallen civilization, drawing strength from the darkness of its past.

Appearance

The wraith appears as a skeletal figure intertwined with remnants of ancient armor, glowing with an eerie, violet light. Its eyes burn with a fierce madness, and spectral chains seem to bind it to the earth, resonating with the echoes of its lost god. The air around it crackles with an unsettling energy, causing the very ground to tremble beneath its feet.

Actions

Blade of Purification

The wraith swings its spectral blade at a target within reach, dealing 3d8 necrotic damage on a hit, and the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or have their maximum hit points reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken until a long rest.

Harrowing Wail

The wraith unleashes a terrifying wail that can be heard up to 300 feet away. Each creature within a 30-foot radius must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
