Description

The Apple Tree Monster is a terrifying amalgamation of twisted branch and gnarly roots, standing imposing in the heart of overgrown forests. Its bark-like skin has a deep green hue, mottled with splotches of reddish-brown while vibrant, oversized apples dangle from its limbs, giving it both allure and danger. It moves with a slow, deliberate grace, suggesting years of wisdom and a great hunger for those who tread too close.

Poisonous Fruit

The monster tosses a poisonous apple at a target within 60 feet. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 4d6 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

For one turn, the Apple Tree Monster takes root in place, gaining resistance to all damage and regenerating 10 hit points at the start of its next turn. It cannot move during this turn but may still use its other actions.

Vine Whip

The Apple Tree Monster lashes out with its thick, vine-like branches, making a melee attack against one target within 10 ft. on a hit, the target takes 2d10 + 5 bludgeoning damage, and must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 16) or be grappled.
