Brooklyn
Brooklyn, New York stands as a sprawling and decaying metropolis, its once-vibrant streets now unrecognizable after decades of the New World Order's brutal experiments on both nature and humanity. The city's skyline is a warped fusion of towering glass structures and dilapidated buildings. The streets are no longer governed by the rule of law. Anarchy reigns. Smugglers move goods under the radar, trading in black-market enhancements, while rogue mutants roam, wielding their powers recklessly. Only the brave or the insane venture outside at night, when the mutated beasts and superpowered humans lurk in the darkness. There are no alliances here, only survival, and a battle for dominance in a world that has been irrevocably changed.
Hunter Island
Life here on Hunter Island is a constant struggle for survival, not just against the monstrous mutant animals but against the very environment itself. The mutated plants have run rampant across this once beautiful, well maintained green pastures. Some of the mutant animals have made this a habitat for their nesting and reproduction. Some of the most rare and useful materials can be found here though. Because of this, many people venture in to find some of the most sought after items to sell on the black market. Most people don't make it back out. Creatures who venture into this wilderness do so at their own peril.
Manhattan
Manhattan has been transformed as an upscale enclave, relatively less affected by the world’s dystopian changes. In this alternate version, Manhattan would retain its allure as a center of wealth, power, and privilege, offering a stark contrast to the ruined, decaying areas outside its boundaries. This version of the city would be heavily fortified, controlled by elite factions, and serve as a symbol of human ingenuity and authoritarian control in a world that has otherwise descended into chaos.
New York City, USA
As a symbol of modern power, commerce, and culture, New York became a testing ground for advanced genetic manipulation and experimentation. The city's dense population and strategic importance made it the focal point for government-controlled research on both human and animal subjects. Mutant humans with powers like telekinesis, elemental control, and extreme strength were unleashed, leading to frequent clashes between factions. Some of the city's towering skyscrapers were repurposed as government research facilities, while the streets became battle zones for different mutant groups.
Queens
Queens exists in a precarious balance between the desolate, lawless chaos of the outer boroughs like Brooklyn and the controlled opulence of Manhattan. It is a fractured place, where remnants of the old world and the mutated new world collide. While not entirely decimated like Brooklyn, Queens has been left to fend for itself under the shadow of both the powerful, wealthy elite of Manhattan and the ever-encroaching dangers of uncontrolled mutations. It has become a sort of no-man’s-land—caught between these opposing forces, it is neither fully ruled by the wealthy nor completely ravaged by the horrors of mutation, but is instead a hybridized landscape of survival, semi-urban regeneration, and emerging factions.
The Bronx
The borough, once a symbol of urban resilience, now stands as a volatile battleground, shaped by the blending of technological advancements, mutated wildlife, and the ongoing conflicts between factions. Skyscrapers and high-rise apartments in the Bronx are cracked and overgrown with mutated vines and strange, towering plants. The streets are cracked, littered with debris, and have become a mixture of a concrete and plant filled jungle.
