"Echoes of Grimdark" begins in Lightward Bastion, a city built in defiance of the long-banished Demon Lord Grimdark. Heroes from all walks of life gather at the Lightward Guild, seeking glory, treasure, or revenge. Their journey starts in the upper floors of the Grimdark Vault—a vast, ever-shifting dungeon of monsters, traps, and ancient echoes of evil. This is the tale of their beginnings, their bonds, and the light they carry into the dark.
Author's Note: This is an adventure that begins at level 1, and is meant to introduce the players to the world. It is a work in progress that over time I hope to flesh out into a whole world of dungeon delving.

Description
Fungus Hollow is a dimly lit cavern filled with bioluminescent fungi that cast an eerie glow on the damp stone walls. The air is thick with the scent of earth and decay, and the ground is soft with a carpet of moss and mushrooms, making it a perfect resting spot for weary adventurers. Here, they can find respite from the dangers of the grimdark vault, but must remain cautious of the lurking creatures that thrive in the shadows.
Appearance
The cavern is adorned with various types of glowing fungi, some towering like trees while others cling to the walls like a tapestry. Small pools of water reflect the light, creating a mesmerizing yet unsettling atmosphere.
