Until the spell ends, it takes an extra 1d6 Necrotic damage whenever you hit it with an attack roll. Choose one ability when cast—the target has Disadvantage on checks using that ability. If it drops to 0 HP before the spell ends, you may curse a new target on a later turn as a Bonus Action.
