backstory

High Seeress Nyxara Voidsong was once a scholar of the fey, studying at Crystalmoor Lake, until she stumbled upon an ancient tome in the Eldritch Ruin, whispering promises of power. Seduced by its eldritch voice, she abandoned her past, forming the Shadowveil Cultists to awaken the entity within. Her rituals have corrupted parts of the Dominion, earning her enemies across Eryndor, especially the Verdant Pact’s Aeloria, who once called her friend. Nyxara’s pact with the entity has granted her visions of a world reshaped in darkness, but her growing paranoia—fueled by failed rituals—drives her to seek more sacrifices. She trains cultists like Morvax Shadowclaw, aiming to spread her influence while battling her own fractured mind.
