The world was once whole, but centuries ago, a cataclysmic event shattered the sky into floating islands, each separated by vast chasms and strange storms. These sky islands are held aloft by the remnants of ancient magic and technology, and each has its own ecosystem, culture, and dangers. The people of Noraeos live in constant tension between the grounded land, which is rapidly becoming inhospitable, and the floating islands in the sky.
