He is mysterious and slightly unsettling due to his unblinking gaze and occasional slips into Latin. He is deeply committed to his secret role and takes his duties very seriously.

Walter Greaves, known as Walt the Umbra Mailman, is a Veilrunner and retired active agent of the Umbra Bureau. He has been delivering mail through the Suburbia Hills Veil fractures since the 1970s, acting as a monitor of timeline consistency. Walt hand-delivers Divine Corrections—letters from the gods that can rewrite reality—and carries a mysterious scroll marked 'Open only if Castor returns.' Despite his stooped appearance, he is weirdly ageless and never leaves footprints. He has a strict policy of banning Castor from receiving mail anywhere in Bellingham.
