Description

A small aberrant creature resembling a centipede with oil-slick skin that absorbs and feeds on flame, glowing internally as it consumes fire before vanishing into shadows. It can consume magical flames and re-secrete them as corrosive bile, using extinguished light as bait to strike.

Corrosive Bile

The Dousecrawler spits a glob of corrosive bile infused with consumed magical flame at a target within 15 feet, dealing 3d6 acid damage and extinguishing nonmagical flames in a 10-foot radius.

Flame Absorption

The Dousecrawler can absorb any fire source within 5 feet, extinguishing it and healing itself for 2d6 hit points. Magical flames heal it for an additional 1d6 hit points.

Shadow Slip

As a bonus action, the Dousecrawler can vanish into shadows, becoming invisible until it moves or attacks.
