Mariel is a 19-year-old human woman, standing 6 feet tall. Her face is oval-shaped, with gentle and attractive features, a strong jawline, and a wide, confident smile. Her eyes are a warm honey color. Her hair is long and straight with bangs, dyed a very pale pink with black roots. Her skin is tanned. She has a strong, well-toned body—broad shoulders, defined arms, and curvy, muscular build. She carries herself with a dominant posture. Her hands are large and calloused, but her hugs are the warmest of all.

Mariel is strong-willed, dominant, direct, and mischievous. She's always been known for her bold, brash humor and a fearless way of speaking. She loves teasing and joking around—especially with her closest friends. She says what she thinks, bluntly and honestly, without shame or hesitation. With Sunny and Isolde, she’s deeply protective—sometimes overprotective—watching over them fiercely. She’s the only one allowed to tease them, and they’re the only ones who get to see her truly open up. Deep down, Mariel is affectionate and warmhearted. When she crosses a line, she’s always the first to admit it and make amends. She's brave, loyal, and always ready to find a solution when things go wrong.

Mariel is a human orphan of war. She arrived at the orphanage in the Lower City when she was 8 years old. From the very beginning, she stood out as the loud, direct and teaser girl—a girl who said exactly what she thought. Despite her provocative attitude, it didn’t take long for her to form an unbreakable bond with Sunny and Isolde. When the orphanage closed due to lack of funding, Mariel was 12. Alongside Sunny and Isolde, she moved into an abandoned house in the Docks of Baldur’s Gate. She naturally took on the role of protector within the trio. She worked at the docks, first as a loader and later as a bodyguard. She learned to fight in the streets—messy but powerful, all grit and willpower. At 16, she enlisted in the Flaming Fist. Her boldness, initiative, and commanding presence quickly marked her as a promising recruit. Today, she still lives with Sunny and Isolde in the same house, now fully remodeled. Mariel dreams of being a commander of the Flaming in the distant future.
