Description

The Weeping Stone is a weathered monolith of dark, porous stone that rises about ten feet from the water's surface. Surrounded by trees, its top is uneven and stained with streaks of green algae, and a constant, slow trickle of dark, viscous liquid seeps from within the stone, giving it an eerie, melancholic presence. It has an encrypted message on it: The message, when deciphered using a key relating to ancient falcon lore and water patterns, reveals the following warning: "Slumbering Grodd, in Deorc Hof's deep keep, stirs not 'til careless hand his ancient sleep shall sweep. When heedless touch the old one's rest shall break, Mitkarass drowns, the waters rise and take."

Appearance

The stone is dark and rough, with a porous texture that absorbs the surrounding moisture. The dark liquid that trickles down its sides creates a small pool at its base, while the trees around it seem to lean away, as if in mourning.
