However, when an ancient civilization sought to exploit the emeralds’ power, they waged war, mercilessly attacking the Chao and their sanctuary. It was only through the intervention of Tikal, a kindhearted echidna, that Chaos was sealed within the Master Emerald, trapped for centuries in a state of dormancy. In modern times, Dr. Eggman released Chaos, intending to use its growing power to conquer the world. Though initially neutral, Chaos gradually succumbed to its long-buried wrath, evolving with each emerald it absorbed. Its story is one of tragedy—a once-peaceful guardian twisted into a destructive force, embodying both the serenity of water and the fury of a storm.
