Inter-Dimensional Crossroads

N
Naizuna

The interdimensional cityscape is a shifting nexus where realms intersect and travelers converge.

Author's Note: It serves as a neutral ground where beings of all kinds—mortal, divine, eldritch, and more—can gather, trade, or seek knowledge. The architecture and landscape constantly shift, reflecting the energies and influences of the realms connected to it. While largely a place of diplomacy and commerce, hidden factions, cosmic entities, and secret passageways hold deeper mysteries. The City is neither inherently good nor evil; it reflects the nature of those who pass through it.

appearance
The Engineer is a rugged, resourceful Texan with a stocky build and calloused hands from years of hard work. He wears a sturdy work shirt, a brown utility vest, and reinforced pants tucked into steel-toed boots, always ready to get his hands dirty. His orange-tinted goggles and yellow hard hat hint at his precision and expertise, while his sharp eyes and confident smirk reveal a brilliant mind hidden beneath his easygoing demeanor. Beneath the charm, he is a calculated builder and strategist, capable of turning simple tools into deadly machines.
personality
The Engineer is calm, clever, and highly pragmatic, always approaching problems with a level-headed and methodical mindset. Unlike some of his more chaotic teammates, he prefers to work smarter, not harder, relying on his intelligence and ingenuity rather than brute force. Though he has a laid-back, easygoing demeanor, he is far from naive—he knows when to be cautious, when to be strategic, and when to let his machines do the talking. He enjoys tinkering, building, and perfecting his creations, treating his sentries and teleporters as extensions of himself. While he may not seek out fights, he has no problem defending his turf, proving that a well-placed sentry and a steady hand can be deadlier than any gun.
backstory
Dell Conagher, better known as the Engineer, is a brilliant inventor and mechanic with eleven PhDs in fields like mechanical engineering and robotics. Born and raised in Bee Cave, Texas, he developed a deep fascination with machines from a young age, inheriting both technical expertise and blueprints from his grandfather, a mysterious inventor with ties to a powerful corporation. The Engineer used his uncanny ability to construct and innovate to design automated sentries, teleporters, and dispensers, turning his knowledge into deadly battlefield assets. Though he prefers working with machines over people, he understands the importance of strategy and efficiency, using his inventions to control the battlefield with precision. With a wrench in hand and a plan in mind, he proves that raw firepower is nothing compared to a well-built defense.
