Inter-Dimensional Crossroads

N
Naizuna

The interdimensional cityscape is a shifting nexus where realms intersect and travelers converge.

Author's Note: It serves as a neutral ground where beings of all kinds—mortal, divine, eldritch, and more—can gather, trade, or seek knowledge. The architecture and landscape constantly shift, reflecting the energies and influences of the realms connected to it. While largely a place of diplomacy and commerce, hidden factions, cosmic entities, and secret passageways hold deeper mysteries. The City is neither inherently good nor evil; it reflects the nature of those who pass through it.

appearance
Tamamo, in her true form, is the embodiment of divine elegance and ancient mystique. Her long golden hair cascades freely, accented with red ribbons and fox ears that twitch subtly with emotion. Nine luxurious tails fan out behind her, their soft white tips shimmering with celestial energy. She wears flowing shrine maiden-style robes in white, purple, and crimson, embroidered with traditional patterns. Her legs, visible beneath the layered hakama, are graceful and human-like, and she walks in delicate white zōri sandals with crimson thongs—each step measured, dignified, and silent as moonlight.
personality
Tamamo is the embodiment of timeless wisdom wrapped in graceful poise. Outwardly calm and composed, she speaks in soft tones, often with dry humor or veiled sarcasm, but every word is measured and precise. She has the air of someone who has seen the rise and fall of civilizations—and carries the burden of that memory in silence. Her time in sealing honed her patience into something near divine; she plays the long game, often choosing subtle manipulation over brute force. Though she values tradition and hierarchy, she isn’t a relic—Tamamo is adaptable, observant, and deeply strategic. She acts as a mentor and maternal figure to Alice XVI, guiding her not only with ancient knowledge but also with tough love and quiet care. While she rarely shows anger, when provoked, her fury is swift, cold, and devastating. Beneath the elegance lies a cunning survivor and master sorceress who never forgot what it took to reclaim her freedom—or what she’ll do to protect the Monster Lord’s legacy.
backstory
Tamamo is one of the mythical Six Ancestors, ancient beings born from the First Monster Lord to shape the foundations of monsterkind. As the original Nine-Tailed Fox, Tamamo once stood beside the First as a loyal companion, strategist, and high priestess. After a cataclysmic conflict in ages past, Tamamo was sealed away—a fate meant to contain her overwhelming divine power. But through centuries of cunning, patience, and subtle influence, she engineered her own escape, returning to the world with her knowledge and strength intact. In the current age, she serves as one of Alipheese Fateburn XVI’s Four Heavenly Knights alongside Alma Elma, Granberia and Erubetie, acting as her magical tutor, political guide, and closest maternal figure. Though she speaks softly and smiles with grace, Tamamo remains a being of immense arcane mastery and unshakable will—a living relic of the ancient world, and a pillar of the Monster Lord’s reign.
