These colossal beasts can tunnel through the ground with astounding speed, emerging suddenly to engulf prey in their gaping maws. Their sheer size and relentless hunger make them one of the most fearsome predators of the desert realm.

Sandstorm Burrow

The Giant Sand Worm burrows into the sand and creates a violent sandstorm in its wake, obscuring the area in a 30-foot radius for 1 minute. All creatures in the area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 bludgeoning damage and become blinded until the end of their next turn.

Slams itself down, dealing 3d6 bludgeoning damage.

Swallow

The Giant Sand Worm attempts to swallow a Medium or smaller creature grappled by it. If the target fails a DC 18 Strength saving throw, it is swallowed and begins to take 4d6 acid damage at the start of its turn.
