Adanto
Adanto is home to the remnants of the Sun Empire's military and stationed officials. Essentially acting as capital city of the empire.

Atzocan
A coastal city not unlike Otepec for it's sovereignty from the empire, however it is also home to many Merfolk as well.

Azcanta
Azcanta, now called the Sunken Ruin, was a thriv- ing population center until a prolonged conflict with the River Heralds caused it to sink into the waters of the Inner Sea. Its buildings are still largely intact far beneath the waves, and some pirates now seek the city’s treasures.

Conqueror's Foothold
A training ground for warriors, and coastal guard stationing for safe travel to and from Adanto.

Deeproot Tree
Rumored home to the Merfolk civilization, only those in good standing should venture into its boundaries, and never without an obvious escort, as the Merfolk are a fierce and defensive people, oppressed and taken advantage of throughout time.

Fort Durron
Fort Durron was the most impressive work of architecture the Sun empire had ever achieved outside of Orazca, until what was known as the Black Winter came, and legions of vampires sieged the fort and seized control. None dare approach as it is practically impossible to attack, tenge vampires used their unique talents to make obsolete all the forts defenses and simply walked in. Plenty of brave warriors have tried to break in, set a comrade free, or find fabled treasures, but none return, more than likely changes into vampires themselves if not devoured or destroyed.

Fort Leor
Fort Leor is all that remains of the Empire's inland authority. The only place they dare stay and defend, their last line of defense before the Conqueror's Foothold, and Adanto. It has not survived by coincidence, Fort Leor is where the fiercest warriors of the Sun empire are based to train. It is also the forward base for all expeditionary teams further inland.

High and Dry
High and Dry is a floatilla-city lurking far off the Easter coast of Ixilan, where empire has no authority. A hub for nomadic seafarers.

Icalaquiampa
Icalaquiampa, the temple of sunset, was the focus of a religious sect that tried to replace the emperor with a high priest and establish theocratic rule.

Itlimoc
Known commonly as the 'Sky Temple', Itlimoc is visited by all the citizens of Ixilan, and all religions are respected and worshipped here.
Ixilan
The continent of Ixilan

Lost Vale
Little is known about the Lost Vale, widely avoided by civilized locals. Tales of lost parties, rumors of abandoned relics, and stories of sentenced criminals are all you can recall.
Orazca
Of course, the grandest ruin of the ancient Sun Empire is Orazca, the glorious golden city where the Immortal Sun still lies hidden. It was the empire’s capital for many centuries, and tribute from across the breadth of Ixalan was brought to adorn its palaces and temples. Gold covers nearly every building in the city, and jade inlays reflect the influence of the ancient merfolk who shared Orazca with the humans of the empire. But the world has since closed up over the golden city, hiding its secrets and its treasures from all who seek it. Three golden spires are now the only visible signs of Orazca where they rise above the forest floor.

Otepec
The acting capital of the mainland, Otepec is home to all kinds of travelers and citizens of Ixilan's various backgrounds. The Empire does not typically visit officially. The other factions tolerate and even work together here. Crime against the peace of Otepec is not advised. The city itself has stood neutral and acted as a central home for all since the initial decline of the empires power, and they do not tolerate outside issues affecting its citizens. Likewise, any crime on the inside is swiftly dealt with.

Pachatupa
The Merfolk city of Pachatupa, all are welcome here, but is ruled by remnants of the ancient Orazca Dynasty of Merfolk.

Pecatli
The city of Pecatli was known for its grand temple, which boasted three great spires for the three aspects of the sun. The spires have long been toppled, but the diamonds, emeralds, and rubies said to have crowned them have never been found.

Primal Wellspring
A sort of preservation for Merfolk hunters and foragers, although it is unclear where they populate from in the area, the Primal Wellspring is always crowded and under watch.
Quetzatl
Quetzal, an ancient ruined city that was once home to a self-proclaimed king who challenged the Empire's authority.

Spitfire Bastion
The fortress-city Spitfire Bastion is the first and last line of defense between High and Dry and the Sun Empire's Navy.

The Tailfin peaks overlook greater Ixilan and the eastern seas, home to many nomads and hunters, and ridden with beasts and all sorts of treacherous terrain.

Tanaztac
Ruined fortress-city which marks the western edge of the Sun Empire's reach.

Techepec
Techepec was a retreat for the emperor and the imperial family, a place where they could escape the trials of life at court for a time. In fact, Emperor Huatzan II used Techepec as a sort of capital-in-exile during a brief period of insurrection, when another pretender sat on the throne in Orazca.

Temple of Aclazotz
Aclazotz was a temple dedicated to a bat god of the night, opposed to the Threefold Sun and the empire devoted to the sun.
