Tidus arrived in Traverse Town disoriented and alone, his memories fragmented and hazy. He recalls a sudden, overwhelming darkness that swept through his home, a place he can no longer quite picture. He remembers the faces of his friends, Selphie and Wakka, but they are distant, like echoes. The last thing he remembers is a chilling, empty feeling, like something was being ripped away, and then a strange, shadowy creature with glowing eyes appearing just before everything went black. Since then, he's been plagued by nightmares of those creatures, their presence a constant, unsettling reminder of the lost world.
