Description
Deku Scrubs are small, plant-like creatures that inhabit forests, swamps, and other lush, vegetative areas. They are recognizable by their shrub-like humanoid bodies, rough, bark-like skin in varying shades of brown and green, and large, hollow mouths used to spit projectiles such as seeds or nuts at intruders. Timid by nature, they prefer to avoid confrontation but exhibit cunning resourcefulness when defending their territory. With short limbs covered in leaves and expressive eyes reflecting their emotions, Deku Scrubs retreat into the ground or dense foliage when threatened, often employing clever hit-and-run tactics against larger foes.
