Kal Duskbane is a grim and enigmatic half-elf sorcerer whose shadow magic awakened violently beneath the Godless Mountain after a near-death experience. Feared and hunted, he wanders Magiventia seeking control over his dark power and atonement. His connection to the Godless Mountain, Griswind Camp, the Silent Cradle, and the Crater of the Fallen Star shapes his journey. He struggles with the gods corrupting influence but fights to be more than a weapon. His main desire is to find the staff of desire, a legendary staff made by the gods of desire themselves, which is lost in Magiventia.
