Aztec Mythology
The gods are gone, the sun won’t rise—will you save the world or let it burn?
Author's Note: Mecatl is unlike any fantasy setting you've played before—a world where the gods demand sacrifice, where divine cycles of creation and destruction shape history, and where your choices may decide the birth of an entirely new era. If you love high-stakes storytelling, mythic struggles, and a rich, underexplored mythological foundation, this is your world. The apocalypse isn’t coming… it’s here. What will you do with your final days?

Description
A dark, foreboding chamber filled with the stench of decay and the sound of dripping blood. At its center lies a sacrificial altar, overflowing with unnatural crimson ichor, remnants of countless sacrifices made in the name of Cuauhxi, the Flayed Priest. Shadows dance along the walls, whispering secrets of the past and the dark rituals that took place here.
Appearance
The altar is made of black stone, slick with blood, and adorned with the flayed skins of previous victims. Flickering torches cast eerie shadows, illuminating grotesque carvings that depict the rise and fall of Xipe Totec, the fallen god Cuauhxi seeks to revive.
