Mecatl

The gods are gone, the sun won’t rise—will you save the world or let it burn?

Author's Note: Mecatl is unlike any fantasy setting you've played before—a world where the gods demand sacrifice, where divine cycles of creation and destruction shape history, and where your choices may decide the birth of an entirely new era. If you love high-stakes storytelling, mythic struggles, and a rich, underexplored mythological foundation, this is your world. The apocalypse isn’t coming… it’s here. What will you do with your final days?

Description

Deep within the ancient ruins of a forgotten temple lies the Stone Heart of Xipe Totec, a pulsating, living heart made of obsidian and jade. It radiates an aura of primal energy, beckoning adventurers to claim its power, but its guardians, spectral jaguar warriors of the past, will test the worthiness of any who approach.

Appearance

The heart appears as a large, pulsating stone, with veins of glowing green energy coursing through it. It is surrounded by intricate carvings of ancient deities and symbols, and the air around it hums with a low, rhythmic beat, echoing the heart's own pulse.
