Aztec Mythology
The gods are gone, the sun won’t rise—will you save the world or let it burn?
Author's Note: Mecatl is unlike any fantasy setting you've played before—a world where the gods demand sacrifice, where divine cycles of creation and destruction shape history, and where your choices may decide the birth of an entirely new era. If you love high-stakes storytelling, mythic struggles, and a rich, underexplored mythological foundation, this is your world. The apocalypse isn’t coming… it’s here. What will you do with your final days?

Description
Yacapapalotl is a massive, vine-covered step pyramid adorned with giant luminescent moths that flutter and shift with the breeze. The air is filled with strange vibrations, and the flowers within the temple seem to move of their own accord, creating an eerie atmosphere. Mihoatzin, the Keeper of the Verdant Maw, warns that the temple is alive, with corridors that shift to ensnare intruders unless they offer a living sacrifice to the jungle.
Appearance
The pyramid is draped in thick vines, with walls that shimmer under the light of the moths. The vibrant colors of the flowers contrast sharply with the dark stone, creating a surreal and enchanting sight.
