Aztec Mythology
The gods are gone, the sun won’t rise—will you save the world or let it burn?
Author's Note: Mecatl is unlike any fantasy setting you've played before—a world where the gods demand sacrifice, where divine cycles of creation and destruction shape history, and where your choices may decide the birth of an entirely new era. If you love high-stakes storytelling, mythic struggles, and a rich, underexplored mythological foundation, this is your world. The apocalypse isn’t coming… it’s here. What will you do with your final days?

Coordinates | (1400, 680) |
Description
A vast field of burial mounds, overgrown with blood-red flowers that whisper names on the wind. At night, the flowers emit a faint glow, and touching them reveals the memories of the deceased. It is said that picking the wrong flower will summon the spirit of the deceased to hunt the thief until the flower is returned. The legendary Cozauhqui, The Forgotten Judge, is rumored to have buried a great heretic here, but the location remains a mystery.
Appearance
The graveyard is a hauntingly beautiful sight, with undulating mounds covered in vibrant blood-red flowers. At night, the flowers glow softly, illuminating the area with an eerie light, while the air is filled with the soft whispers of names carried by the wind.
