Killian is a once-brilliant inventor whose desperation and obsession have twisted his mind. He is selfish, consumed by his desire to make machines live and to cheat death. He is eerie and unsettling, speaking in cryptic poetry and showing little empathy for others, especially after his transformation. Yet, a flicker of his former genius and love for his son remains buried beneath the madness.

Killian Steelton was once a beloved innovator in High Town, known for transforming discarded tech from Grey Terminal into helpful machines that improved life for struggling citizens. A devoted husband and father, he dreamed of building a better world from junk. Praised as a genius, his charming and clever machines, especially prototypes made to amuse his young son, brought joy. However, after being diagnosed with a rare bacterial disease that turned his skin orange and began to rot his body, Killian's desperation to survive and make his son smile again led him to create Skunky, a cheerful animatronic skunk. His sanity frayed as obsession took hold, believing machines could live and he could live forever. When his wife begged him to stop, he silenced her by turning her into one of his creations. Children and drifters began to vanish near his pizzeria, never to be seen again. He now speaks in broken, selfish poetry, muttering to his creations.
