Sun Diego is a lean man of average height. He often wears a hoodie with his jolly roger on it. He has blond hair and a chin-beard.

Sun Diego is an extremely laid-back yet scheming man, who is nearly always seen calmly smiling when not put into a tense situation. Not eager to directly clash with potential enemies, Sun Diego prefers to be patient and only act when the time is right, choosing to stay out of unnecessary conflict and wait for a valuable opportunity to further his goals

Sun Diego was born in a small coastal village, but his life changed forever when he encountered the Sun Pirates during their rise to prominence in the New World. He was taken in by Fisher Tiger, the legendary leader of the Sun Pirates, who saw great potential in him. Despite being human, Diego was adopted by the Fish-Men as a sign of unity and solidarity in the fight against oppression, especially the human dominance over Fish-Men. After the death of Fisher Tiger Diego formed the Sunny Pirates, a new crew dedicated to keeping Fisher Tiger's dream alive: achieving freedom for all oppressed peoples, no matter their race. The crew quickly gained notoriety as one of the worst pirate crews in the New World, known for their unpredictability and fierce battles. As a member of the Worst Generation, Diego has made a name for himself not only for his leadership but for his ability to challenge powerful enemies, including the World Government and Marines, with his unyielding will.
