Author's Note: "Pavelock investigations in a dark Victorian setting where dark magic and civilization clash. VERSION 1.2 ( More to Come ) "
Pavelock, a dark fulcrum of a Victorian era, is a city divided between civilization and the shadow of forbidden magic emanating from the underworld, a realm of fae creatures with arcane arts. The law and faith in the Great Father, protected by the zealous Iron Sisters, stand against this subterranean threat. The Academy, a special police force with superior powers, ruthlessly hunts these creatures and their accomplices.
In this rigid society, the half-bloods – half-orcs and half-elves – live marginalized, relegated to the lowest jobs. An illegal black market thrives on the hunting of fairies for their intoxicating dust. But the deepest corruption nests in blasphemous pacts: rich and poor alike strike dark deals with the fae in exchange for power and eternal life, often gaining only deformity and decay. Pavelock is a city on the brink of the abyss, torn between the dim light of civilization and the seductive darkness of forbidden magic.

The Workers' Quarter

Details
Coordinates | (225, -243) |
Description
The Workers' Quarter is a tightly-knit community of modest homes, where factory workers reside in simple yet functional dwellings. Despite the poverty that pervades the area, a strong sense of camaraderie exists among the residents, who often gather to share stories and support one another, though an undercurrent of resentment towards the factory owners simmers just beneath the surface.
Appearance
The quarter is characterized by narrow streets lined with small, weathered houses, each adorned with makeshift gardens. The air is filled with the sounds of children playing and the distant clanging of factory machinery, creating a stark contrast between the vibrancy of community life and the harsh realities of their labor.
