Mocked and humiliated at Masquerade Isle, she was shamed publicly when her mask was stolen at the grand Moonlight Masquerade. In despair, she leapt from a balcony into the sea, shattering her soul. Tharnok cursed the isle's population to wear masks forever, and Verusha now haunts those who break the sacred masquerade, seeking vengeance and embodying grief and fractured identity.
