Jones has the appearance of a humanoid fish with slimy, barnacle-covered skin, webbed fingers, and a shark-like grin filled with jagged teeth. His eyes glow with a ghostly light, and he wears a tattered pirate coat covered in seaweed and corroded by years in the ocean. His crew members share similarly horrifying appearances, resembling fish, sharks, or other sea creatures, half-man, half-beast.

Davy Jones is ruthless, unforgiving, and driven by a deep sense of betrayal and fury toward the gods, especially Calypso. He is cold and calculating, harboring an eternal bitterness due to his cursed existence. While he is feared by all, there is a tragic air to his character, burdened by his endless fate and desire for freedom.

Once a mortal pirate of legendary renown, Davy Jones was cursed by Calypso, the sea goddess, after betraying her. Doomed to sail the seas for eternity aboard the Flying Dutchman, his crew suffers the same fate, transformed into immortal, fish-like monstrosities. The ship, ghostly and ethereal, can never make port and is forced to roam the oceans forever. Now, Davy Jones haunts the seas, ruthlessly hunting those who cross his path or defy his authority, sending them to a terrible fate beneath the waves. While he possesses the ability to control the seas and summon deadly storms, his immortality and cursed existence leave him with an overwhelming sense of despair, longing for release from his eternal torment.
