Joshua is erratic and unpredictable due to his traumatic past and sickness, but he is inherently kind and protective of those he trusts. He is cautious and stealthy, always wary of betrayal, yet he yearns for connection and belonging.

Joshua Embers was born from a wish granted by a fire Genie, but the wish was tainted by the hatred of the wisher. From birth, Joshua was covered in flames and afflicted with a debilitating disease. His village, which should have been his rightful home, was burned to ashes, and his parents were killed in the inferno. Orphaned and sickly, Joshua grew up erratic yet kind-hearted, struggling to trust others. To survive, he learned to move stealthily and steal what he needed. Despite his hardships, he holds onto a flicker of hope and kindness within his fiery soul.
