Rajamala

A female Vanara medicant with tawny fur and expressive amber eyes, wearing simple but clean robes of the Kalyari order. Her hair is tied back in a practical style, and she carries a small dagger concealed beneath her robe. She has a lean, agile build and moves with quiet grace.

Tara is gentle and compassionate, with a quiet strength and a deep sense of duty to care for others. She is patient and attentive, always ready to lend a hand or a kind word. Though she has embraced pacifism, her past as a guard gives her a pragmatic edge and a readiness to defend when necessary.

Tara-of-the-Veil was once a fierce caravan guard, skilled in protecting her charges through the dense jungles and treacherous passes of Rajamala. A Vanara by birth, she was known for her agility and sharp senses, always alert to danger. However, after a life-changing encounter with a Kalyari healer and a profound spiritual experience, she converted to the faith of the Kalyari 'Holy One'. Now, she dedicates her life to healing and serving others, helping to run the kitchen at a Kalyari refuge where she prepares nourishing meals for the sick and weary. Despite her peaceful new path, she still carries a dagger hidden beneath her robe, a reminder of her past and a tool for protection if ever needed.
