Mar is an androgynous Triton with smooth blue skin and deep sea green eyes that hold a hint of distant mysteries. Their white hair is neatly pulled back, cascading down their back. They favor ornate blue and gold outfits, today wearing one with intricate designs and a striking red collar, completing their scholarly yet elegant look.

Mar is enigmatic and intensely curious, driven by a thirst for knowledge and a chaotic neutrality in their pursuit of arcane understanding. Analytical and disciplined, they approach the world with a scientific rigor, yet their methods can be unconventional. While seemingly detached, Mar is deeply concerned about the looming apocalyptic threat they perceive, fueling their dedication to research and their somewhat volatile experiments in the science lab.

Born in the deep-sea city of Vuuvax to a family of historians, Mar became obsessed with ancient lore, particularly the legend of the First Tide. Discovering strange fulgurites, they became convinced of an impending apocalypse linked to a prophecy. Driven by urgency, Mar sought surface knowledge, becoming a science teacher at Porthaven Academy to research the Prismatic Meteor and avert disaster.
