Science Fiction
Solaris-3, also known as Sol-III and Solaris, is the third planet from the sun and the setting of Wuthering Waves. The planet was ravaged by a global catastrophe known as The Lament, during which the fundamental laws of physics were disrupted. This event gave rise to the Waveworn Phenomenon, a series of anomalous occurrences resulting from the destabilization of natural laws. Due to this occurrence, humans have gained the ability to resonate and manipulate frequencies, giving rise to Resonators.

Shixia grew up with her sister Shiyu, but their paths diverged when Shiyu awakened as a resonator while Shixia did not. Despite this, Shixia remained dedicated to her studies, rarely venturing outside except for her hobby of climbing the mountains of Shade Ridge. She works as a clerk and researcher at Huaxu Academy, often overworked and burdened by insecurities. Nevertheless, she is kind, hardworking, and brave, determined to make her own mark despite not having resonance abilities.
