He joined Starfleet Academy and specialized in navigation and piloting, quickly rising to become a trusted pilot on the USS Legate. Joran is deeply committed to the ideals of Starfleet and the protection of the Alpha Quadrant, often reflecting on the struggles of his people to fuel his dedication.
