Survival in New Vance

Reaction, which you take when a hostile creature moves into a space within 15 feet of you that contains natural, uncultivated plant life. With a practiced eye and a quick manipulation of the surrounding flora, you trigger a sudden, aggressive surge of growth in the natural vegetation within range. The targeted creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or have its movement speed halved until the end of its current turn as thorny vines or tough roots momentarily ensnare its legs. A creature that succeeds on the saving throw is unaffected. This ability can only be used if there is sufficient natural plant life in the targeted space.
