Once the proud stronghold of Clan MacKenzie, Castle Leoch now serves as a historical museum showcasing the rich heritage of Scotland’s warrior clans. Nestled in the city countryside, its ancient stone walls whisper stories of battles and unbreakable family bonds, while the great hall immerses visitors in the 17th century atmosphere with wooden beams and replicas of old banners. Jamie Fraser and his ancestors were among those who walked these halls, forging bonds that shaped Highland history.

The castle features weathered stone walls, a grand great hall with an imposing stone fireplace, and restored bedchambers adorned with heavy tartan blankets. The old armory displays an array of antique weapons from the Jacobite era, all under the warm glow of candlelit sconces.
