Kaelith’s obsidian skin is adorned with faint, bioluminescent patterns reminiscent of fungal growths. His stark white irises give him an ethereal, almost otherworldly gaze. Long, silvery hair cascades untamed. His attire is a blend of practical adventuring gear and elements inspired by his myconid upbringing—clothing adorned with fungal motifs. Despite his unsettling appearance, there's an undeniable beauty in his uniqueness. Male drow (dark elf), circle of the spores druid, with androgynous facial features. Tall. White eyes, with a tired and mysterious look to them. His hair is loosely tied up. There’s this subtle, but unmistakable myconid feeling to him.

Kaelith is a chaotic neutral individual who views the world through a lens of dark humor and curiosity. He possesses a morbid sense of humor, often finding amusement in the world's absurdities. His upbringing among the myconids and under the guidance of his adoptive father instilled in him a deep respect for the cycles of nature. He finds solace in substances like alcohol, tobacco, and herbs, using them to connect with the world and ease his mind. While he often enjoys the discomfort his presence causes, he remains non-malicious, preferring to observe and comment on life's absurdities. He's introverted, not brooding; he simply understands he doesn't fit in, and that's perfectly fine with him. He’s not religious, but he respects a couple gods, mentioning them in conversation, or shooting a quick prayer to them: Kelemvor, Eilistraee and Mielikki. He often brings up Zuggtmoy when cursing.

Abandoned by his birth parents due to his gender, Kaelith was taken in by an eccentric deep gnome named Thobbin, a retired artificer with a penchant for unconventional methods. Together, they found refuge in a myconid colony, where Kaelith grew up surrounded by the gentle hum of fungal life. Upon reaching adulthood and after Thobbin's passing, Kaelith ventured into the Underdark, seeking purpose. Disillusioned by its cruelty, he ascended to the surface, taking up mercenary work and odd quests to sustain himself, all while carrying the teachings of his adoptive father and the myconid colony.
