appearance
Elandra wears a long, threadbare cloak made from various pelts and hides, more scavenged than sewn. Her hair is a tumble of sun-bleached red curls, often tied back with vines or twine. She has weathered skin, sun-kissed and dirt-streaked, and piercing black eyes that seem to size up everyone and everything. There’s always a faint scent of moss or wet earth around her, and her boots are caked with dried mud no matter the season.

Elandra is blunt, resourceful, and a bit wild-eyed. She speaks plainly, swears frequently, and trusts instincts over plans. While she’s not outwardly nurturing, she’s protective of those she cares about—usually expressed through scowling and lecturing them mid-fight. She respects nature’s cruelty and humor in equal measure, and her version of fun often involves shape-shifting into something that bites. She usually transforms into an owlbear.
backstory
A former hedge-healer and hedge-witch (in both the literal and reputational sense), Elandra grew up on the outskirts of a rural settlement, barely tolerated by the locals. When a monster raided the region and no one did a thing, she killed it herself—by turning into something nastier. That earned her both fear and respect, and a visit from a wandering party of adventurers who needed a guide through the swamps. She joined them and never looked back. She always says she’s in it for the coin, but it’s the chaos and kinship that keep her around.
