The head of House Galatea, Count Gunnar, exemplifies the house's dedication to its martial heritage and the well-being of its people. His daughter, Ingrid, embodies the county's chivalriy, aspiring to be the epitome of a knight. In the early 1170s, the region endured a severe famine, yet the community's strength and unity facilitated a recovery, reinforcing the county's reputation for endurance and solidarity.
