Description

Charon County stands as a distinguished region within the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, renowned for its noble lineage and strategic significance. The county is governed by House Charon, a noble family that traces its ancestry to Charon, one of the Ten Elites who played a pivotal role in the War of Heroes. Charon was the original bearer of the Crest of Charon and wielded the legendary sword Thunderbrand, a hero's relic associated with his lineage. The current head of House Charon, Count Charon, continues the family's tradition of leadership and service to the kingdom. Under his stewardship, the county has maintained its commitment to the martial heritage established by its founder. The county's strategic location along the Oghma Mountains, to the southwest of Galatea County, has historically made it a vital area for trade and military movements within the kingdom.
