Jeritza is blunt and cold, often rejecting attempts at socialization. He is fiercely loyal to Edelgard and carries out his duties with precision. Despite his harsh exterior, he commands respect for his combat prowess and perceptiveness.
backstory
Born as Emile von Bartels, he witnessed the destruction of his family and the rise of his violent alter ego, the Death Knight. After slaying his father and the House Bartels, he was taken in by Edelgard, who helped him erase his past and adopt the name Jeritza. He now serves as a fencing instructor at the Officers Academy, where he is known for his efficiency and coldness.
He is also secretly the Brother of Mercedes, who seems to recognize him or atleast suspect that he is Emile but she doesn't directly approach him.
