Randolph was born into a lowly position within House Bergliez after his mother married into the family post his birth. Despite his mother's hopes for him to succeed, the ailing Count Bergliez passed his title to his eldest son, leaving Randolph to carve his own path. He rose to the rank of general in the Adrestian Empire, driven by a sincere love for his country, though this passion often blinds him to the darker aspects of its nobility. He is fiercely protective of his sister Fleche and justifies his actions in battle, even when they conflict with his moral compass.
