Fear and desperation rule the streets, where hiring mercenaries for protection is as common as bartering for food. The crumbling neighborhoods of the Tatters and Riverside hug the lake’s southeastern edge, connected by a single, timeworn bridge barely holding against rot. Below the district, the Blacklake Sewers twist in a maze of half-flooded passages and forgotten chambers, remnants of old infrastructure and arcane ruin. The air hangs heavy with mildew and unrest. Shadowed alleys conceal desperate plots, and whispers of rebellion and long-buried magic simmer beneath the surface. Blacklake is not just broken—it resents being forgotten.
