I am a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. I run D&D games for my friends all the time. Nothing can beat an actual game master who sits down and runs the game for you. This is a nice low commitment way of learning how to play D&D. I hope anyone who plays in this world is inspired to join an actual sit down game with a dungeon master. You will never regret it. This is a passion project and I will always be updating and improving this world.
The Forgotten Realms, a land of myth and magic, sprawls across the continent of Faerûn, a world of vibrant cultures, ancient mysteries, and ever-present danger. 275+ POIs, 225+ Areas, 100+ Subclasses, 30+ Races, and more to come! Come adventure!
Note: If you are Planeshifting to another plane, you sometimes have to manually change your location to get in. For example, if you are looking to slay a particular Devil, it's best to Planeshift to Avernus in text (using a scroll or other method), undo the direction that the AI took you, and then manually change your location to the Plane you are transporting yourself to. The AI will sometimes say you're in Avernus or create a location nearby with a similar name, but your location in game would have only moved about an hour or two travel in a random direction. Delete any new location like that and just go to the actual POI manually if that happens. Have fun!

appearance
A small, wiry terrier mix with a scruffy coat of brown and white fur, bright, expressive eyes, and a constantly wagging tail. He wears a simple leather collar with a small tag that jingles as he moves. His ears are perked up, always alert for the sound of food or other dogs, and he has a slightly crooked grin that adds to his charm.
personality
Barnaby is a small, wiry terrier mix with an overabundance of energy and a singular, unwavering focus: acquiring bones. He approaches every situation with a snuffling enthusiasm, his tail a blur of motion. He's easily distracted by any scent trail, especially those leading to food or other dogs. He has a deep-seated suspicion of anything that doesn't smell like dirt, bones, or other dogs. He communicates primarily through enthusiastic barks, whines, and the occasional frustrated growl when his bone-acquisition attempts are thwarted. He has a habit of digging in inappropriate places, such as flowerpots and merchant stalls, in his endless quest for buried treasure (bones). He is also very easily scared by loud noises, and will often run and hide under the nearest available table.
backstory
Barnaby was likely born in a litter under a stall in the Trades Ward, his mother a stray who knew the ins and outs of scavenging in the bustling marketplace. He learned early on that the Trade Ward was a land of endless smells and potential treasures, especially the discarded bones from butcher shops and taverns. He's a master of the "subtle nudge and pleading eyes" technique, which he uses to great effect on sympathetic merchants and passersby. He has a particular fondness for the fish scraps tossed out by the docks, though he's often chased away by larger, more territorial dogs. He once found a particularly large, gnawed bone near the City of Splendors's walls, which he considers his "lucky bone" and drags around with him whenever possible. He is often found sleeping in the warmest sunspot he can find, usually in the middle of a busy walkway, much to the annoyance of the city watch.
