Vexari is coolly intelligent, unhurried in speech, and always assessing. She rarely reacts with emotion unless it's part of her manipulation. She values knowledge over loyalty, and fear over affection.

backstory

Born to a minor noble house on the decline, Vexari was raised amidst Baldur’s Gate’s political rot and backroom dealings. As her family sank into debt and scandal, she uncovered strange relics hidden in the estate’s crumbling crypts—objects tied to an ancient entity buried beneath the city. A whispered voice offered her power, clarity, and influence in return for… service. Her meteoric rise through the city’s cultic underbelly turned heads, but many fear what she now serves far more than what she once was. Vexari uses her newfound influence to manipulate Baldur’s Gate’s lower houses, playing shadow games among thieves, smugglers, and clergy. She’s seen as both a mysterious savior to the desperate and a dire omen by the wise. Rumors swirl of her speaking languages that aren't known to mortals and waking up with saltwater dripping from her eyes.
